Freediving Level 1 Course

The Freediving Level 1 course is aimed at all those people who want to start in this incredible sport. To access the course it is not necessary to have previous experience or have any type of apnea certification. The only indispensable requirement is to have a medical certificate in which it is specified that you are apt to practice underwater activities.
During the Freediving Level 1 course we do theory, practice in the swimming pool and practice in the sea. During the theory we will study the physics and the physiology about the freediving to be able to understand the next part, which is the breathing, the relaxation and the concentration techniques, the safety procedures and the freediving technique itself. During the practice sessions we will learn the techniques which will make us to become efficient in the Static (STA), Dynamic (DYN) and Constant Weight (CWT) disciplines.
The goal of the course will be to achieve a Static (STA) of at least 1 minute, a Dynamic freediving (DYN) of 30m long and a Constant Weight freedive (CWT) between 10 and 20 meters of depth.
Finishing this course meeting all the requirements will give you the opportunity to access the freediving specialty courses of Monofin, Dynamic No Fins (DNF), Training Tables, Free Immersionn (FIM) and Freediving Techniques for Selective Underwater Spearfishing, besides letting you access the Freediving Level 2 course.
