What are the requirements to start diving?

To start diving with us, you must be at least 10 years old, be able to swim, and be in good general health. No previous experience is required for beginner courses.

How long does an SSI or PADI Open Water Diver course last?

The Open Water Diver course lasts 3 days and includes theory sessions, confined water training, and open water dives. We also offer online learning options for the theory part.

Is diving safe?

Yes, diving is very safe when established protocols and standards are followed. At LASSDIVE, safety is our number one priority, and all our instructors are highly qualified and certified.

Which dive sites do you offer?

We offer dives at the best locations on the Costa Brava, including Cap de Creus and other points of interest. Each site has unique characteristics in terms of marine life, topography, and difficulty level.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

No, it is not necessary. At LASSDIVE we provide all the necessary equipment included in our dive packages. However, if you have your own gear, you are welcome to use it.

Can photos or videos be taken underwater?

Yes, we offer underwater photography services, and you can also bring your own underwater camera. Additionally, we have cameras available for rent if you want to capture your underwater moments.

What happens if weather conditions are unfavorable?

Safety comes first. If conditions are not suitable for diving, we will reschedule the dive for another day or offer alternatives such as theoretical activities or dives at more sheltered locations.

How can I book a dive or a course?

To practice freediving with us, you must be at least 10 years old, be able to swim, and be in good general health. No previous experience is required for beginner courses.

Is freediving safe?

Yes, freediving is a very safe activity when practiced following established rules and under the supervision of qualified professionals. At LASSDIVE, safety is a priority, and all sessions are conducted by certified instructors following strict protocols.

How long does a freediving course last?

Beginner freediving courses usually last between 1 and 2 days, depending on the level and the program. They include theory sessions, breathing and relaxation exercises, confined water practice, and open water sessions, depending on the chosen course.

Do I need previous experience to start?

No. Beginner courses are designed for people with no prior experience. You will learn the basics of breathing, relaxation, and fundamental techniques to enjoy freediving safely.

Where do you practice freediving?

We practice freediving in calm and sheltered areas of Cap de Creus, on the Costa Brava, selected according to sea conditions. These locations offer good visibility and suitable depths for all levels.

Do I need to bring my own freediving equipment?

No, it is not necessary. At LASSDIVE we provide all the basic equipment needed (wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel, and weights). If you have your own equipment, you are welcome to use it.

Can photos or videos be taken during the activity?

Yes, underwater photos and videos can be taken. We offer underwater photography services, and you can also bring your own action camera or underwater camera.

What happens if sea conditions are not suitable?

Safety is essential. If conditions are not optimal, the activity will be rescheduled or adapted with theory sessions, breathing exercises, or practice in more sheltered areas.

ABOUT JET SKIS

What is included in the jet ski rental?

Jet ski rental includes the use of jet skis available at different locations such as Empuriabrava, Roses, l’Estartit, Platja d’Aro, Port Balís-Barcelona, Garraf, and Torredembarra. You can choose between jet skis with or without a license, depending on the selected service.

Do I need a license to rent a jet ski?

It depends on the option you choose. No license is required for guided tours; however, if you want to rent a jet ski independently, you must hold the appropriate navigation license.

What is the minimum age to ride a jet ski?

The standard requirement is a minimum age of 16 years to operate a jet ski, both for guided tours and licensed rentals.

How long does the rental last?

Rental duration varies depending on the option and location chosen. On lassdive.com you can book by the hour, half day, full day, or guided tours with a specific duration.

Which jet ski models are available?

For licensed rentals, LASSDIVE offers a varied fleet including models such as Yamaha SuperJet, Yamaha VX, Yamaha JetBlaster, Yamaha FX HO, Yamaha GP HO, and SeaDoo GTI 130, all designed to provide power, stability, and fun on the water.

License-free rentals are carried out using Yamaha VX models.

Can two people ride the same jet ski?

Yes, many of the available jet skis are two-seaters, allowing you to ride with a passenger and, if you wish, take turns driving during the activity.

What should I bring for the rental?

For licensed rentals, you must bring a valid navigation license and a valid ID document. It is also recommended to bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and eye protection (sunglasses or similar).

For license-free rentals, a valid form of identification is required.

What if I have no previous jet ski experience?

No worries! No previous experience is required for guided tours, and a short safety briefing is provided before heading out to sea.

What happens if sea conditions are not suitable?

Safety is essential. If sea conditions are not suitable for the activity, LASSDIVE reserves the right to reschedule or adapt the route depending on sea conditions and participant safety.
